General

What services does Keystone Technologies Limited provide?
We provide CCTV, access control, automatic doors, fire detection, fire alarm maintenance, emergency lighting, electrical services, industrial electrical systems, UPS, generators, solar installation, networking and structured cabling services. Service availability depends on location, site requirements and technician capacity.
Where is Keystone based?
Keystone Technologies Limited is based in Lusaka, Zambia, at Plot No. 56460, Libala South, Nationalist, Lusaka, Zambia.
Do you work outside Lusaka?
Some project work outside Lusaka may be considered by quotation and planning. Online appointment bookings are currently limited to Lusaka Province, and urgent dispatch outside Lusaka depends on availability, distance, safety and project scope.
Are you an authorized vendor for every brand shown on the website?
No. Brand names and images are used to show products we may supply, install, integrate or support. Keystone does not claim to be an authorized vendor, distributor or registered partner of any manufacturer unless this is expressly confirmed in writing.

Quotations and Appointments

How do I request a quotation?
Use the RFQ form or contact page and describe the service, site location, number of areas or devices, preferred timeline and any existing system. After submission, you may receive a confirmation email with a reference number for follow-up.
Is a website enquiry the same as a confirmed job?
No. A website confirmation only confirms that your request was received. A job, appointment, supply order or dispatch is confirmed only after Keystone accepts it and agrees the scope, timing and charges.
How far in advance should I book an appointment?
Appointment requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day appointment requests should be handled by calling us directly, especially if the matter is urgent.
Can I book an appointment outside Lusaka Province?
The online appointment form currently accepts Lusaka Province appointments only. For work outside Lusaka Province, contact us directly so we can review travel, access, project scope and availability.
Do you charge for site visits?
Some inspections, emergency visits, transport, diagnosis or after-hours visits may attract a call-out or assessment fee. If a fee applies, we aim to explain it before the visit where practical.

CCTV, Access Control and Security

What CCTV systems do you install?
We install and support HD/IP cameras, 4MP and 8MP systems, PTZ cameras, LPR/ANPR camera solutions, NVR/DVR recording, VMS viewing, remote access and related network setup. The best system depends on the site, lighting, storage needs, compliance needs and budget.
Can you help me choose CCTV for my property?
Yes. We can recommend camera positions, lens types, recording storage, viewing options, power backup, signage considerations and network requirements after understanding the site layout and the areas you want to monitor.
Do you install NDAA compliant cameras?
We can help customers choose products that meet stated compliance requirements where those requirements are provided. Compliance should be confirmed against official manufacturer documentation, model numbers and the customer's own procurement policy.
What access control systems do you support?
We support common access control setups such as card readers, biometric terminals, keypad access, door controllers, magnetic locks, exit buttons, time attendance integration and visitor-controlled entry. Final design depends on door type, traffic, backup power, fire safety and site security requirements.
Do automatic doors work with access control?
Yes. Automatic doors are often planned together with access control, fire safety, emergency release, backup power and building traffic flow. We can review the site before recommending a door operator, sensor, lock or safety accessory.

Electrical, Power and Solar

Do you handle residential electrical services?
Yes. Keystone can handle residential electrical services where the work is within our service scope and technician availability. For safety, we may need site information before confirming a visit or quote.
What industrial electrical work do you handle?
We handle electrical maintenance, distribution boards, switchgear support, control wiring, fault diagnosis, testing support, cabling, power distribution improvements and related industrial electrical work by assessment and quotation.
Do you service UPS systems?
Yes. UPS support may include inspection, fault checks, battery testing, battery replacement, bypass checks, cleaning, alarm review, load review and repair advice. Work depends on UPS model, fault condition, parts availability and safe access.
Do you work on generators?
Yes. We can support generator installation, maintenance coordination, controller wiring, ATS/changeover support, fault tracing and upgrade work. Some repairs may require specific spares or coordination with engine specialists.
Do you install solar systems?
Yes. We install solar systems by site assessment and quotation. A good solar design depends on load assessment, battery choice, inverter sizing, roof or mounting conditions, protection devices and maintenance planning.

Fire, Emergency Lighting and Networking

Do you install fire detection systems?
Yes. We install and maintain fire detection systems by assessment. System design should consider building layout, detector type, alarm notification, panel location, cable routes, maintenance access and relevant safety requirements.
Do you maintain fire alarm systems?
Yes. Maintenance can include visual checks, panel checks, detector testing, sounder checks, battery checks, zone review, fault investigation and recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
Do you install emergency lighting?
Yes. Emergency lighting may include exit route lighting, battery-backed fittings, replacement units, testing support and recommendations based on building layout and safety needs.
What networking work do you do?
We provide structured cabling and network support including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, Cat7 where appropriate, patch panels, racks, CCTV network cabling, fibre coordination, labelling, testing support and neat cable management.

Warranty, Refunds and Customer Rights

Do you provide warranty?
Warranty depends on the quotation, invoice, service agreement, product warranty and installation conditions. Manufacturer warranty terms are controlled by the manufacturer and may require correct use, proof of purchase, serial numbers and maintenance records.
What is not normally covered by warranty?
Warranty does not normally cover misuse, unauthorized repair, tampering, lightning, power surge, flooding, fire, vandalism, theft, pest damage, neglect, wrong operation or abnormal site conditions unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.
How are refunds and returns handled?
Refunds, returns, replacements and service corrections are handled under our Refund and Returns Policy, the agreed scope of work and applicable Zambian consumer protection requirements. Keep your invoice, receipt, job card or reference number.
Can I cancel a service request?
You can request cancellation or rescheduling, but charges may apply if a technician has already been dispatched, materials have been ordered, work has started or costs have already been incurred.

Privacy and Website Forms

Why do forms ask for consent?
Forms collect personal information such as name, email, phone number, location and service details. Consent and clear notices help explain why Keystone collects that information and how it will be used, in line with Zambia's data protection requirements.
Will I receive a confirmation email?
Contact, RFQ and appointment forms may send a customer confirmation email with a reference number. Keep that reference number so we can trace your request more easily.
How do I contact Keystone?
You can call 0953 070 258, call emergency line 0777 897 771, email info@keystonetechltd.com, or use the contact form.
These answers are general guidance. Final scope, pricing, warranty, timing and responsibilities are confirmed in the written quote, invoice, service agreement or job record.
